A complete reproduction of the first-generation NSR500!] In 1983, Honda won the road racing world championship title since 1967 with the 2-stroke V-3 cylinder NS500, but it was clear that the 3-cylinder engine lacked power. Therefore, the following year, in 1984, a new machine equipped with a single-shaft crank V-type 4-cylinder engine was introduced. The V4 engine was mounted on an aluminum frame, which later evolved into the twin spar frame, and an ambitious structure was adopted, with the chamber above the engine and the fuel tank below, with an upside-down layout. The first-generation Honda NSR500, which embodies Honda's challenging spirit and dominated road racing for the next 19 years, is finally available in the 1/12 motorcycle series.
