Product Introduction
Fine Molds 1/72 Japan Air Self-Defense Force F-15J Fighter J-MSIP Modernized Plastic Model FP51
As of 2023, the F-15J, the main fighter of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, is deployed in nine squadrons nationwide, with approximately 200 aircraft.
In addition to the excellent basic design, the high scalability has been utilized to modernize radar and other electronic devices and on-board equipment in the United States as the "MSIP" (Multi-Stage Improvement Program) since 1983, and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's F-15J has also been gradually improved as a modernized aircraft "J-MSIP" including Japan's own modifications, and even now, nearly 40 years after its introduction, it is still in charge of air defense missions as Japan's main fighter.
In addition to the "Hot Scramble 1984" which reproduces the shape of the aircraft at the time of its initial deployment, the current modernized specification is also available as a kit.
The differences in the current F-15, such as the exhaust nozzle without an iris cover and various antennas, are meticulously recreated.
The decals recreate the 201st Squadron (Chitose Air Base, Hokkaido), 204th Squadron (Naha Air Base, Okinawa Prefecture), and 306th Squadron (Komatsu Air Base, Ishikawa Prefecture).
