This remap upgrade solution is competitive in online games and tournaments and is completely legal.
The 15 buttons will be remapped to 2 additional buttons, and you will press these two buttons with your middle finger.
This is a benefit as you don't have to move away from the stick or trigger to access other buttons such as face buttons during high speed FPS or shooting games.

On-the-fly button remapping
Simply press and hold the settings button on the back for 3 seconds to enter button programming mode.
You can activate the remapping program while gaming to assign up to 15 buttons (X, O, triangle, square, up, down, left, right, L1, L2, R1, R2, L3, R3, and the touchpad button) to the back button.
