The diaphragm uses a proprietary material that combines strength and flexibility. The woofer uses a diaphragm called A-Silk OMF, a new material made from a hybrid molding of silk, which takes advantage of the natural characteristics of natural materials, and aramid fiber, which is strong and flexible and has a reputation for being used in many fields other than speaker diaphragms.
A ring-shaped diaphragm is used instead of the typical dome-shaped diaphragm, and a balanced drive structure is adopted in which the voice coil is placed midway between the outer and inner ends of the diaphragm. Unlike conventional tweeters, it does not rely on divided vibrations, but instead covers frequencies up to nearly 20kHz using amplitude faithful to the original signal, achieving ultra-wideband reproduction up to a maximum of 100kHz.
Many compact cabinet-sized speakers are equipped with ducts that emit air vibrations generated inside the cabinet to the outside in order to reproduce deep bass sounds (bass reflex structure).
To prevent signals from interfering with each other between the woofer/tweeter units, an isolated mounting method is used to separate each network circuit.
The speaker terminal part uses a gold-plated machined brass type with excellent conductivity. High-quality specifications that prevent signal transmission loss at contacts and suppress deterioration of signal conductivity due to aging.
