Option 1: Complaint about Joom I would like to complain about the Joom platform because I have had a very bad experience. The customer service is unprofessional and does not protect the interests of the buyers, but rather those of the dishonest sellers. I bought a robot vacuum cleaner that was advertised as used but repaired and in good condition - with a significant price reduction. The pictures and description on the website showed a device that looked like new, but when I opened the package, it looked like it had been picked out of a pile of rubbish. I plugged in the robot and tried to use it, but important parts are missing: no remote control, no instructions or QR code for programming. The connection options (e.g. WiFi, Bluetooth or app control) do not work at all. When I press the start button, the robot stops in one place, turns around or repeatedly drives into obstacles. On November 14, I reported the first defect. Since then, I have fulfilled all the support requirements: I described the defects in detail, sent photos and later videos that clearly show that the robot does not work. Despite this, Joom keeps asking for patience and requests additional information to avoid responsibility. On November 27th (after 13 days), support again asked for a video, although it was already clear that the robot was defective. Instead of offering a solution, they claimed that the video did not prove that "parts had fallen off". What they meant was that functions were missing or not available at all. I paid with Klarna using Sofortzahlung, but now my money is blocked and I have neither a working robot nor a refund. Joom shows neither customer service nor professionalism in this case and obviously protects a seller who sells faulty goods. --- Option 2: Rating for the Joom website I am very disappointed with the Joom platform and cannot recommend it. The customer service is unprofessional and seems to put the interests of the sellers above those of the customers. I bought a robot vacuum cleaner that was supposedly used but repaired. The description and pictures promised a device that was almost new. But what I received was a defective and apparently unusable device in a very poor condition. Essential parts such as a remote control and instructions are missing. The connection via WiFi, Bluetooth or an app does not work either. The robot can only be started manually, but then turns senselessly in circles or drives into obstacles without completing its tasks. I immediately filed a complaint on November 14th and provided all the required evidence (photos, videos, descriptions). Nevertheless, the support team keeps asking for patience and new information
