Gary McFarland is a famous arranger whose reappraisal is gaining momentum in recent years. The sound is a stylish crossover of pop/bossa nova/lounge. This work is composed of a small combo, and you can enjoy his vibraphone from the opening "Pecos Pete". The melancholy of ``Amor Tormentoso'' featuring Richie Camuca's oboe is also nice.
