It combines excellent autofocus performance and cost performance. It uses an STM stepping motor to achieve quiet and smooth autofocus. This makes it easier to capture decisive moments, and supports smooth video shooting and Eye AF. *Video AF and Eye AF can only be used with cameras equipped with high-performance image plane phase detection AF.
