【Multifunctional Modular Design】SmallRig Star-Trail Matte Box VND Kit 3645 is equipped with a 95mm opening matte box, threaded adapter ring, 4x5.65 inch filter tray, VND filter set, top flag, carrying case, and dual 15mm rod supports. These accessories give you complete control over your camera's light exposure to improve video quality indoors or outdoors.
【Quick Release Design】The lens hood features magnetic attachment and quick release design, allowing you to easily change the configuration of all accessories. The filter frame (4x5.65 inches) features an aluminum alloy frame and anti-off design for quick installation without leaving fingerprints.
【VND Filter Set】The kit comes with 2 CPL filters and 1 filter tray to create a single variable neutral density filter with 1-8 stops of light control. The two filters are held together with a magnet before being inserted into the filter tray. The filter is ideal for lenses over 35mm in length.
[Compatibility] This kit comes standard with 4 threaded adapter rings (67, 72, 77, 82-95 mm) for circular filters such as VND, GND, CPL, common DSLR lenses, and Φ95mm cine lenses. Additionally, Adapter Ring Kit 3383 (52, 55, 58, 62, 86-95mm) can be purchased separately for increased compatibility. Supports lightweight configurations suitable for gimbals and drones.
[Other Accessories] Star-Trail matte box uses a lot of lightweight magnesium alloy and carbon fiber to provide a lightweight shooting solution. Supports many SMALLRIG accessories to extend functionality. Examples: 4x4" filter frame 3648, side flag 3647, adapter ring kit 3383, clamp-on ring kit (Φ80/85-95mm) 3654.
As one of the Star-Trail series matte boxes, the SmallRig Multifunctional Modular Matte Box (Φ95mm) VND Kit 3645 is a product for mirrorless single-lens cameras that prevents glare and flare caused by sunlight and other light and controls the image on the screen.
Exposure can be balanced by changing the external light flux with respect to DOF. Four threaded adapter rings (Φ67-95mm / Φ72-95mm / Φ77-95mm / Φ82-95mm) are included as standard for circular filters such as VND, GND, and CPL, as well as general digital SLR camera lenses and Φ95mm cine lenses.
In addition, it is possible to increase compatibility by purchasing adapter ring kit (Φ52-95mm/Φ55-95mm/Φ58-95mm/Φ62-95mm/Φ86-95mm) 3383 separately. It also comes with an anti-off design filter frame (4x5.65 inches) that uses an aluminum alloy frame and can be installed quickly without leaving fingerprints. If installing a 4x4" filter, please purchase filter frame 3648.
Please note:
1: Not compatible with 2mm thick, 100x100mm, 100x150mm slide-in filters.
2: Slide-in filter and circular filter cannot be held at the same time.
3: Cannot be used for circular filters with an outer diameter of 100mm or more.
4: Attach the filter frame (4 x 4 inches) 3648 to the innermost groove near the lens.
5: After removing the lens hood, attach the VND Filter Kit 3651 to the innermost slot near the lens.
6: Third-party VND filters are not compatible with VND Filter Kit 3651.
