Language: Brazilian Portuguese. The Nuer, from E. E. Evans-Pritchard, occupies since its appearance a central place in the socio-anthropological studies of our time. In Brazil, the translation by Editora Perspectiva of this masterpiece of 'scientific interpretation', as it was considered by international critics, gave courses and scholars in this field one of the most valuable instruments for research and knowledge, which made the present re-edition almost obligatory.
