This third edition of Clinical Pharmacology for Dentists repeats the success of previous editions and brings expansions and deepening of its themes, in order to maintain the current relevance of the work and its relevance to dentistry professionals, students and professors.. In this edition, the structure in units and sections, the review of classic pharmacological concepts, the description of useful tools in learning pharmacological-clinical content and the critical discussion of what is really valid and clinically relevant in decision-making involving medications in dental treatments are maintained.. Now, the number of chapters has increased from 44 to 48, with new topics such as the rational use of medicines, search, selection and analysis of sources of scientific information, critical reading of scientific information and dental management of patients with HIV and AIDS infection..
