How To Use:(1) Before installing and using the equipment, you should pay attention to the surrounding environment is quiet and clean, away from radioactive electromagnetic field electronic equipment;
(2) After the connection is completed, turn on the power, press the green switch button on the lower right front side of the panel, the display will light up and automatically enter the pure tone test;
3)Familiarise yourself with the test
Demonstration of 1000Hz, 40dB HL strength of the test tone to the subject ear, such as hear then 40dB a lower strength, such as hearing, then 40dB a higher strength, until the subject hears the sound, and then reduce the test tone to the lowest, and then gradually increase the strength of the sound, until the subject to respond to the interruptions of 2-3 seconds, and then give the sound of 2-3 seconds, such as the response is the same, then the formal test. If the response is consistent, the test can be carried out.
(1) Air Conducted ometry (AC)
The purpose of air conduction ometry is to determine tory sensitivity at different frequencies. This test can determine air conduction loss, but cannot distinguish between conductive and sensorineural hearing loss. Air conduction hearing threshold threshold setting involves the entire tory system, including the outer and middle ear in the conductive sector, the cochlea in the sensorineural component and the functional integrity of the tory nerve. It is the most fundamental part of ological assessment.
A) The pure tone ometer is switched on and automatically enters the air conduction test.
B) Headphone placement allows the subject to remove glasses and earrings. Place the headphones downward from the direction of the top of the head. Adjust the ear cups so that the headphone speaker is directly aligned with the external ear canal. Adjust the length of the headband so that the headphones are securely in place. If the ear cups are not in tight contact with the ear, the low frequency test results will be subject to large
error.
C) Instructing the Subject
Before the test begins, the subject needs to be introduced to the patient feedback handle buttons that test for pure tone and response. You will hear different sounds in the headphones at different levels of strength. When you hear a sound, press the patient feedback handle button, and when you do not hear a sound, release the patient feedback handle button.
D) Sequence of test frequencies
1000Hz, 1500Hz, 2000Hz, 3000Hz, 4000Hz, 6000Hz, 8000 Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 750Hz, 1000Hz, generally the better ear or the healthy ear is tested first, the difference between the thresholds of the 2 1000Hz is more than 10dB, then it should be re tested, such as the difference between the thresholds of the 2 octave frequencies is more than 20dB, the If the difference between the thresholds of 2 octave frequencies is more than 20dB, then half octave frequency threshold determination should be done. The duration of sound administration should be 2-3 seconds, and the interval should not be shorter than the duration of sound administration because the full recovery time after acclimatisation is usually 2-3 seconds, and the duration of sound administration and the interval should be irregular.
The timing and intervals should be irregular. A continuous pure tone test should be given, with an explanation if a pulsed tone is given, as there is currently no appropriate normal threshold reference for this sound.
