Initially recognized for its pocket watches and the 'Broadway Limited', a tool for providing accurate train schedules, the brand gained a significant reputation. In 1914, it was selected as a supplier for the U.S. Air Force, and in 1919, it also provided services for ski competitions and the U.S. Postal Service. The brand was commonly used as an official watch for many airlines in the 1930s. During World War II, Hamilton produced over a million military watches and in 1970 showcased the world's first digital watch, the 'Pulsar'. Currently, it is part of the Swatch Group.
