[Reducer for SDP65SS] This is a dedicated reducer for the SDP65SS lens barrel. It shortens the focal length by approximately 0.8 times and changes the F value from 5.5 to 4.4. Image circle φ30mm (covers APS-C. 90% or more light intensity at the outer edge). Even with a full-frame outermost φ44mm, it maintains 70% light intensity while minimizing star image distortion.
[Round star image with well-balanced correction] Even with the FL55SS lens barrel + reducer HD for FL55SS kit, which is well-received for its photographic performance, the peripheral image becomes slightly distorted when magnified to 100 μm in the spot diagram. You can see that the SDP65SS lens barrel corrects the star in a well-balanced manner, resulting in a well-rounded star image.
[Supports shooting with a wider field of view! ] Shorten the focal length of the SDP65SS lens barrel by approximately 0.8 times, and change the F value from 5.5 to 4.4.
