REDWING (Red Wing) - 6inch Classic Moc In 1952, Red Wing first introduced and released a white, flat-bottomed, cushioned traction tread sole for men's boots for work and hunting. 8 inch length boots #877. The boots were a huge success upon release, and over the years many variations have been added. 6 inch length #875 is one of them. Easy to wear thanks to moccasin-type toes (mock toe). Traction tread sole makes it easy to walk in any location and reduces fatigue even when worn for long periods of time. In addition, due to the functionality and durability brought about by high-quality leather and robust construction, #875, along with #877, gained tremendous support from workers and became America's representative work boot. Approximately 65 years later, it continues to be loved as Red Wing's representative boot. This #8833 is based on #8173, which uses Hawthorn Abilene, a beige rough-out leather that was born as a Japanese project in 1989, but the piping, stitching, shoe laces, etc. have been changed to brown, giving it a one-tone overall look.
This is a stylish pair. Unlike most suede leather, which is made by thinly slicing the brushed side of the leather, rough-out leather is made by using the silver side (leather surface), which has the highest fiber density, on the inside and the brushed side on the outside, in other words, turning the leather inside out.It was originally used in many outdoor shoes, and can be said to be a tougher work boot.
