For multi-channel systems in medium to large rooms, the STAGE 250B is ideal as surround channel speakers.. The woofer has a layered, conical polycellulose membrane with a diameter of 130 mm on a rubber suspension, reinforced with round ribs.. Thanks to this, it transmits low frequencies down to 50 Hz, with the characteristic JBL bass drawing and precise, solid contour, comparable to much more expensive corporate legends. The solid MDF housing construction is internally damped with acoustically neutral material to eliminate internal sound wave reflections. Internal reinforcement further increases the overall rigidity of the housing and reduces the transfer of vibrations from the transducers. The bass reflex mouthpiece is directed towards the rear wall, above the screw terminals, which allow the connection of thick bare wires, as well as wires terminated with banana or spade connectors . Thanks to the bass-reflex housing design, the speakers deliver a spacious, balanced sound even at lower volume levels. . The set includes removable, magnetically attached grilles made of sound-absorbing fabric.
