Inspired by the 1959 ES-355 from the Gibson Custom Collection, this guitar is finished in the iconic Ebony color.

Epiphone, in collaboration with the Gibson Custom Shop, has released the 1959 ES-355, a stunning recreation of the legendary 1959 ES model.

The ES-355 is the top-of-the-line model among the ES series, with its body dimensions, body top contour, inlay pattern, and acoustic characteristics all faithfully reproduced.

The 1959 ES-355 features a 5-ply maple/poplar/maple body with a solid maple center block, providing excellent feedback resistance and rich sustain.

The neck is a 1-piece mahogany with a 50s round medium “C” profile, and the ebony fingerboard features mother-of-pearl block position inlays.

The headstock adopts Gibson's original “openbook” headstock shape, with a mother-of-pearl split diamond inlay on the front and an “Inspired by Gibson Custom” logo engraved on the back.

The pickups are Gibson Custombuckers, also used in Custom Shop products.

Additionally, it features CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, Switchcraft selector switches, and output jacks, offering a robust sound specification.

A hard shell case with the “Inspired by Gibson Custom” logo is included.

The collaboration between Epiphone and Gibson Custom Shop continues to produce guitars that are both approachable and of the highest quality.
