The Toyota 86 was born from a major joint development project between Toyota and Subaru. Its sports car, released in April 2012, is equipped with a 2.0-liter horizontally opposed 4-cylinder engine featuring Toyota's "D-4S" direct injection technology, mounted at the front and driving the rear wheels.
Almost everything, from the body to the engine and suspension, has been redesigned to maximize driving pleasure.
