Nishizumi Miho is a transfer student at Oarai Girls' High School. Miho hates tank martial arts and chose Oarai Girls' High School, where the sport isn't practiced. However, soon after transferring, she is summoned by the student council president and forced to select tank martial arts as a required elective and compete in the National Tankery Tournament. What's more, the group is full of unique characters: Isuzuka Hana, the daughter of a flower arranging master; Takebe Saori, who is in love with love; Akiyama Yukari, a tank enthusiast; and Reizei Asako, an honor student who is bad at mornings. Will Miho's humble wish to live a normal high school life with her friends come true?

Episode 1: "Let's Start Tankery!" Nishizumi Miho is a transfer student at Oarai Girls' High School. She has just left home and started living in the dormitory. She has no friends in her class yet and often spends her time alone. Just then, Takebe Saori and Isuzuka Hana approach Miho. The three quickly become friends. Then, the student council president, Kakutani, appears. "It's a required elective, but... you have to take Sensha-do, thank you." Miho is confused, having deliberately chosen Oarai Girls' High School, which doesn't offer Sensha-do. While Miho worries, the Sensha-do orientation begins. Episode 2: "We're Riding a Tank!" Miho chooses to take Sensha-do. Her first job is to search for an abandoned tank near the school with all the members who chose Sensha-do. As Miho searches for the tank with Saori and Hana, she also calls out to Yukari, who is nearby. The tank is safely found, and the group all washes it together. The four spend the afternoon together and eat dinner in Miho's room. The next morning, on her way to school, Miho spots a girl who looks like she's about to collapse. Her name is Asako Reizei, and she's a top student but a chronic latecomer.
