Product Introduction
The fighting spirit to reclaim the championship is also evident.
In the opening round of the 2005 World Rally Championship, the Monte Carlo Rally, Subaru competed with an improved version of the previous year's Impreza WRC.
P. Solberg struggled with brake trouble early on, but managed to finish in fourth place. On the final day, he recovered, setting the fastest times in two stages and moving up to third place, but then got swept up in snow and crashed.
Although he was unfortunately sidelined in the opening round, he went on to win the second round, the Swedish Rally, proving that the Impreza still possesses top-level performance.
