What is the purpose of studying grammar? To study or work in Japan, you need to be able to listen, read, speak, and write Japanese correctly. Without a solid understanding of grammar, you won't receive the necessary information or communicate what you want to say. This book will help you learn grammar, the key to improving your Japanese language proficiency, through your five senses and naturally acquire it.
This book covers all grammar items for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 level (110 items/9 units divided by level). The JLPT is held every July and December in Japan and abroad. It is widely used not only to measure Japanese language proficiency, but also as a prerequisite for university entrance exams, pass/fail criteria, and employment assessment criteria.
Features of the "Learn Japanese Language Proficiency Test by Ear" series
[1] Learn by listening, so it sticks in your memory!
For every entry, one example sentence is provided for each meaning. Listening to the audio is more effective than just reading and writing!
[2] Improve your practical skills with a wealth of practice questions and JLPT practice questions!
Each unit includes "Dictation" and "Practice," as well as "Summary Tests" every few units, and a "Comprehensive Questions" at the end of the book. Example sentences for each headword are repeatedly used in the "Practice" and "Summary Tests," allowing you to thoroughly check your memory of meaning and form, and develop practical skills for the JLPT.
[3] Key Revisions [Visually Easy-to-Understand Connection Diagrams & Translations of "Meanings" of Grammar Items]
In this revision, we've added diagrams to make the connections between the grammar parts of speech you're studying clear at a glance. In addition, English, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese translations have been added to the "Meanings" section. A solid understanding of form and meaning will help you deeply master grammar items.
