Thanks to our relationship with Gibson Custom and the Hendrix family, Epiphone is pleased to announce that Inspired by Gibson Custom will be releasing a reproduction model of the Jimi Hendrix “Love Drops” Flying V, the guitar that Jimi used from 1967 to 1969. Jimi's favorite Flying V was originally finished in a sunburst finish, but after being refinished in ebony, it was given psychedelic graphics hand-painted by Jimi Hendrix himself. The newly released “Jimi Hendrix “Love Drops” Flying V” faithfully reproduces that design. *The image is a sample. Each grain is different.
