A recommended sake cup for travel.
This sake cup is crafted from genuine tin, using casting techniques cultivated through the processing techniques of "cast iron," a traditional industry in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.
Tin has a strong ionic effect and is said to purify water and make drinks mellow.
It has long been said that "water stored in a tin vessel will not spoil" and "the impurities in sake are removed, making it taste better," and so it has been used for sake and tea cups.
This product is a sake cup with two overlapping cups.
Its compact size makes it portable for outdoor activities such as in the car on a trip or for cherry blossom viewing.
It has high thermal conductivity, so if you store the vessel in the refrigerator, it will chill well, making it perfect for cold sake.
It is also delicious served at a lukewarm temperature.
